Our answers to the most asked questions
Arrival / check in
You can check in any time you like from 6.30 am until 1.00 am. During lunch and dinner time it might be possible, that we ask you must wait some minutes. The rooms are ready from 3.00 pm on. When you arrive before 3.00 pm, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room. On Sundays our reception is closed from 11.30 am - 3.00 pm. Train connections to Interlaken (time table): www.sbb.ch/en
very late arrival
You can check in until 1.00 am (one oclock in the night). When you will arrive later, please send us an e-mail until the day before arrival or give us a call before midnight: 0041 (0)33 8223 225.
how to cancel or change your booking
Once you made a reservation, you may change or cancel your reservation online without any costs, with your personal reservationnumber, up to two days (4 pm) prior arrival.
departure / check out
Check out time is 10 am. Please check out promptly, so we will have enough time to clean the rooms. You can store your luggage in our luggage room as long as you want, without extra costs.

bedding
All rooms & dormitories: full bedding (blanket, duvet & pillow case).
common room / lounge & luggage room
Our common room is open all day. Here you can also store your luggage and eat your own food.
breakfast
We serve a continental breakfast from 7.30 - 9.30 am. for CHF 8.00 per person. Please pre-order you breakfast the previous night at our reception desk. Our small breakfast buffet includes: Swiss farmer-bread, butter, jam, honey, soft cheese, corn flakes, Swiss-müesli cereals, milk and orange juice. For hot drinks you can chose between coffee, tea or hot chocolate as much as you like.
Kitchen for guests
Here you can prepare your own food. Kitchen facilities: refrigerators, microwaves, water boilers and toaster, but no stove.
smoking
Smoking is not allowed in our hostel (in all the common areas). Our restaurant offers a smookers lounge.
our Restaurant & Bar: Brasserie 17
Our bar and restaurant, the Brasserie 17, offers you good food and fancy drinks for reasonable prices. From September to June we organize live concerts and many other parties and events. During the summer you can enjoy your food & drinks in our big garden terrace. Opening hours: daily from 8.30 am -0.30 am, on Sundays from 5.00 pm - 0.30 am.
electricity / adaptor
230 Volt. An adapter for electrical equipment can be obtained from the reception upon payment of a deposit of CHF 10.00.
adventure & outdoor activities
Interlaken is a paradise in summer and winter for all who enjoy adventure and outdoor activities. In our hostel you will get all the information you will need and if you want to participate you can book any activity you like. We guarantee the best rates, including free shutle transport.
car parking
You can park your car at our private parking lot, without any charges.
